Where your Black is the Majority!

Own Your Crown was created by our founding board at Brenau University in 2019. Originally, the purpose was to bring awareness to the struggles of Black women, educate on our beauty processes and celebrate our culture.  Today, the purpose of OYC is to unite people from all over Georgia to empower and celebrate Black people and educate others on the Black Experience. We host a space for panelist and performers to educate on various topics, activities for all ages, and black-owned local business owners and artists to network and sell for free.
